In Memory of Mia Amber Davis
Its a great loss to the world to have such an inspirational women taken from us. In a better place now I know Mia is watching over us with knowledge that the plus community with push on through her loss and continue in the fight to work for the beliefs she voiced so proudly.

ReplyDeleteI hope it's not due to a weight loss surgery snafu becuase I am thinking of having it.. soon!
ReplyDeleteDo yourself a favor and don't have the surgery. It is VERY dangerous and almost half of people who have it gain their natural weight back in the end. Stop listening to media propaganda, there is NOTHING wrong with being large. Furthermore, almost all health risks can be minimized in ways other than diminishment.

I am shocked, she really was one of the first plus size models that I saw that made me begin to really embrace my curves, its very sad. Prayers to her and her family.
ReplyDeleteIt was a knee surgery and they are saying it is a result of a blood clot. This makes me sad. I liked her as a plus size model.
