Please help support the movement against the size discrimination that was published today on on marieclaire.com, Should "Fatties" Get a Room? (Even on TV?). Maura Kelly, a freelance writer for the publicatio,n showed no respect for her audience as she ruthlessly attacked the plus-size/overweight/obese population. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and she cannot be blamed for her actions, only pitied for her lack of tact in presenting her opinion. Marie Claire on the other hand SHOULD be held responsible for the content the publish on their site and in their magazine. Please show your support and sign my petition to show Marie Claire this type of blatant disrespect will not be tolerated!

Sorry, but I don't believe in censorship. And you shouldn't either. Lots of people will say lots of things in life that might push a button. My advice? Don't read it!
ReplyDeleteI agree when I see something I don't like then I definitely do just turn my attention elsewhere. But in a situation where a major publication that I subscribe to is allowing such malarkey to be promoted I just felt as a reader of Marie Claire, they should accept feedback. I appreciate your opinion and thanks for reading:-)
